# Evidence and sources

Research checked 10 September 2026. These are original workflows informed by research, not a validated employee-experience intervention or a proprietary assessment. Evidence was gathered through Firecrawl's paper index, related-paper expansion, and primary publisher, university, PubMed, and PMC pages. Full-text access was uneven. A literature review is not necessarily a meta-analysis, and a meta-analysis of associations does not establish that this pack causes improvement.

## What the evidence supports

Work design, social relationships, voice, support, and perceived fairness are useful lenses for understanding employee experience. Studies of deliberate changes are more mixed than their popularity might imply. An umbrella review found stronger evidence for some working-time changes than for retention outcomes. Its review-level ratings should not be treated as guarantees for an agency or a specific AI prompt. We therefore focus on a bounded work condition, implementation checks, adverse effects, and employee corrections.

The templates, step sequences, three-question pulse, prioritization criteria, and trial cards are our practical design choices. They are not research instruments. Optional participation and confidentiality safeguards respond to the realities of small teams; there is no universal group size that makes a comment anonymous.

## Limits of the synthesis

This is a focused evidence review, not an exhaustive systematic review. Index coverage favors biomedical literature; organizational-behavior sources required web searches. Reviews may overlap in primary studies and must not be counted as independent replications. Several papers were accessible only as abstracts or partial excerpts. Agency-specific effectiveness, accessibility trade-offs, confidentiality choices, and causal improvements from these AI prompts have not been tested.

Use proximal work observations alongside optional employee input. Do not repurpose a pulse as a diagnostic instrument or employee rating system. Improvements can help one group while worsening another group's work. Meaningful human review therefore includes whose burden changed and who was not heard.
