# Evidence and sources

Researched 10 September 2026 with the Firecrawl paper index, related-paper expansion and primary academic web sources. This is a focused evidence review, not a registered systematic review or a test of this pack. References support components; combining them into prompts, output schemas, suggested trial lengths and small outcome lists is original design. No source endorses this pack.

## What the evidence supports—and does not

Time-management behavior is associated with better outcomes, but correlations are not proof that a scheduling technique causes them. A supportive job, conscientiousness, resources and perceived control can influence both planning and outcomes. Intervention findings give more direct but bounded support for trying particular practices. No paper establishes that this pack saves a certain number of hours, produces a fixed return, or substitutes for sufficient staffing and authority.

Read the source IDs alongside the evidence map in each skill. Full text means relevant body sections were accessible, not that every cited study inside a review was independently inspected. Abstract-only claims remain at abstract level.

## Practical design choices

One to three outcomes, a two-week calendar trial, concise restart notes, and a weekly review are adjustable defaults. Research does not establish these exact counts or durations. Capacity arithmetic is accounting, not a psychological test. The templates deliberately show uncertainty, displaced work and decision authority. This helps the user see trade-offs; its effectiveness should be evaluated locally.

A fair local pilot checks whether chosen outputs progress, whether service/quality suffers, and whether work merely shifts into evenings or onto colleagues. Record voluntary personal observations. Do not rank employees by focus hours, diagnose attention problems or turn this pack into monitoring software.
